QBE Australian - Travel Plan |
This policy covers travel within Australia for cancellation or rearrangment costs, additional travel expenses, repatriation, cover for your luggage and personal effects. Please include the dates for the departure from your residence and return to your residence when calculating your duration.

The QBE Australian Travel Insurance premium is payable PER ADULT. A maximum of 2 adults can be named on a Certificate of Insurance. Accompanying child, children, grandchildren, step children, nieces and nephews who are under 25 years of age and who are financialy dependant on you during the trip are covered at no additional cost. |

If you require cover for an existing medical condition or you wish to purchase an Australian Cancellation and Additional Expenses Travel Plan you cannot purchase insurance more than 12 months prior to travel. |
All Australian Travel Plans are available to residents of Australia regardless of age. |
The Australian Travel Plan is available to non-residents of Australia who are under 70 years of age at the time the Certificate of Insurance is to be issued. The Australian Cancelation and Additional Expenses Travel Plan is available to non residents of Australia regardless of age. |
Insurance is not available to travellers outside Australia. |

There is no provision to suspend this policy during the period of insurance.

The policy ends once you have returned to your normal place of residence within Australia. |
QBE Australian Cancellation & Additional Expenses Travel Plans |
The Australian Cancellation And Additional Expenses is a per fare paying passenger.
This policy will cover you if you are travelling within Australia and you only want cover for the non-refundable part of pre-paid travel arrangements or additional travel, accommodation and meals.
There is no cover under this policy for claims relating to an existing medical condition (including pregnancy), luggage or a trip in excess of 12 months. |
